Institutional Development Committee

December 4, 2009

Members present: Paul Cedarface, Sandy White Shield, Chris Noordsy, Rainey Benson, Marcel Bull Bear, Loretta Broberg, Sylvia Hollow Horn, Christina Janis, CRCC student representative.

Chairman Cedarface called the meeting to order at 12:45 PM.

Cliff De Long gave the opening prayer.

Sandy White shield moved and Loretta Broberg seconded that the minutes be approved as submitted.

Benefits committee chairperson Christina Janis presented the current renewal premiums from Wellmark.

Policy Review chairperson Milton Fineran emailed the following to the committee:

1. Lenora Hudson has given the District Center Directors the task of reviewing Policies 92-000, 93-000 and 93-001. They will report back to Lenora and she will report back to me.

2. Lenora has also asked us to review policy 93.000”Community Services”. (What is the definition of Community Services?)

3. I will assign for review next week by email sections of the Policy manual to the Policy procedures sub-committee.

Technology Chairperson Cliff De Long reported on the installation of the new head-end router and mentioned that P2P file sharing had been disabled on the college’s WAN.
