Members present: Cindy Iron Cloud, Crystal Paulson, Lorie Broberg, Susie White Thunder, Genevieva Kerl, Edwin Fire Thunder, Theresa Lone Hill, Anna Respects Nothing, Kireii Shiroma, and Craig Howe, Cedric Goodman, Jr.

Guests present: Jim Dudek, Brett Bump, Ursula Gaertner.

Meeting called to order by Broberg at 10:20 AM.

Words of encouragement by Howe.

Election of officers began with nominations for chair. White Thunder nominated Broberg. Discussion followed regarding nomination and election process of committee officers. Suggestion made that all members of the committee automatically be nominated for officer positions. Discussion regarding term limits for Officers. Discussion of rotating Officer positions. Discussion that committee members do not know each other. White Thunder withdrew nomination.

Decision to elect officers later after all new members get acquainted with each other.

Review/approval of minutes. Discussion that very few of members present were members at the time of the previous meeting. Minutes approved. Motion by Kerl, seconded by Respects Nothing.

Committee reports. Theresa Lone Hill reported no report from Activities Committee. No other Committee representatives present to report.

Inquiry by Howe about availability of Piya Wiconi Okolakiciye By-Laws. Broberg replied that they are available online.

Broberg resigned and left meeting.

Inquiry by Fire Thunder regarding election of students as Officers. Discussion followed. Based on a copy of the By-Laws acquired, students are eligible to serve as Officers of Piya Wiconi Okolakiciye.

Unanimous decision to elect Iron Cloud Interim Chair of Piya Wiconi Okolakiciye.

Because he was late to the meeting, Howe was tasked with providing coffee and donuts to the next Piya Wiconi Okolakiciye meeting.

Everyone shook hands. Meeting adjourned.
