hiyuya: pass/give it to me
yo and ye: male and female gender endings
 
2.  Wasin kin ogu yelo/ye (the bacon is burnt)
 
wasin: bacon/fat
kin: the 
ogu: burnt
yelo and ye: male and female gender endings.
 
3.  Hihanni kin anpetu topa kte lo/ksto (tomorrow will be Thursday)
 
hihanni: tomorrow
kin: the
anpetu: day
topa: four
kte: will
lo and ksto: male and female gender endings
 
4.  Tanyan Lakota iwayesni eyas owakahnige ksto. (I don't speak Lakota
well but I understand)
 
tanyan: well
iwayesni:: don't speak
eyas: but 
owakahnige: understand         ( this one is for Lenora's question)
