            Hta-ye-tu  (Guttural H)  to-ki-ya
 
Le:  this 
Htayetu:  evening
Kin:  the (intention)
Tokiya ni:  where are you going?
Hwo/he:  male and female gender ending (question)
 
2.  ungna blugo sni hantas mni luzahan ekta mni kte lo/ksto  (if I am
not tired, I am going to Rapid City)
 
            un-gna  blu-Go (guttural G)  han-tash
 
ungna:  maybe/(if)
blugo:  tired
sni:  not
hantas:  it is ok
mni luzahan:  Rapid City
ekta:  there
mni:  going (also can be used to mean water)
 
3.  takuwe?  (why?)
            
            ta-ku-we
 
4.  tapskatapi kte lo/ksto  (they are playing basketball)  pine
ridge/bennet county    red cloud/custer
 
            Tap-ska-ta-pi (guttural T)
 
Tapskatapi:  playing ball (basketball)
