20-002-3 02/24/82 TREASURER DUTIES (POLICY) The treasurer of the College shall be empowered with the overall financial responsibility to oversee the execution of the financial transactions of the College. He shall work closely with the finance office, but shall not have direct line authority over that office. He shall work with the President of the College on all matters that affect the College administration. The Treasurer shall be empowered to sign legal documents relating to the financial affairs of the College. This may be done in conjunction with the College President as appropriate. The Treasurer shall be responsible for reviewing and ascertaining the requirements of the various grants and contracts that the College handles. He shall be the Chairman of the College Budget Committee and shall make reports of the finances of the College and other presentations to the Trustees as a whole as deemed necessary by the Trustees and shall also perform such duties as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees.
