                                     APPOINTMENT OF VICE-PRESIDENTS (POLICY)

     1.  The Oglala Lakota College is empowered to appoint Vice-Presidents to administrative posts within the
         college.  Appointments are to be based upon the academic, student and community needs of the Oglala
         Lakota people.

     2.  The President of the Oglala Lakota College has the authority to implement search and screen procedures
         as vacancies for Vice-Presidential positions occur.  These procedures also will include recommendations
         of viable candidates for the posts.

     3.  Under the existing organizational structure, two (2) Vice-President posts are approved by the Board of
         Trustees.
