PERSONNEL ORIENTATION AND SUPERVISION (POLICY)
1. The supervisor will orient all new and present employees to the personnel policies and employees are
required to sign a statement for the files that they have reviewed and understood the personnel policies.
2. It will be the responsibility of each supervisor to train, observe, and supervise the operations of
subordinates. Performance will be observed and corrective action initiated or recommended where
necessary in order to assure performance in a satisfactory manner, compliance with Oglala Lakota College
policies and procedures, and to assure general adherence to standards of performance and conduct as may
be required by the President.
3. The President shall be the supervisor of all other employees within the limitations of and as proved for
in the job descriptions and operating handbook or other board actions.
