Lakota Studies Requirements As a tribally chartered college, OLC promotes the specific areas of Lakota history and culture as well as the general area of Indian studies. Every graduate is required to complete several courses from the Lakota Studies curriculum. In addition all courses at OLC reflect a Lakota perspective.
