Cenozoic Stratigraphy
Geological mapping and lithostratigraphic revision, redefinition, and redescription
of the White River, Arikaree, and Ogallala groups in northwestern Nebrska,
southwestern South Dakota, and northeastern Wyoming.
Vertebrate Paleontology
Systematics, evolution, paleoecology, and taphonomy of Cenozoic (particularly
Oligocene) mammals and the management of vertebrate fossil resources on Tribal and
Federal lands in the northern Great Plains region.
Predator/Prey Relationships
The evolution of prey body-size selection, diet, and taphonomic modification of prey
skeletons by Great Plains carnivores, including mountain lions, coyotes, and swift
foxes (with Alessandra Higa).
