Accreditation News:

The CSWE Commission on Accreditation voted to accredit the OLC social work program at their June 2010 meeting.  All graduates of the program are considered to have graduated from a CSWE accredited program.    The primary benefit of accreditation for students is that you are eligible for state licensure as a social worker and eligible to enter an advanced standing MSW program. What this means is that you spend a year earning a MSW rather than two years. The OLC senior year is judged equivalent to the first year of a traditional two year MSW program.
