The Oceti Sakowin Distance Education Consortium is assisting teacher aides in attaining their AA degree. The Serving Native Schools Project will be offering all the courses necessary to complete the degree via distance learning. Both video-conferencing technologies and asynchronous web based delivery will be used by the instructors.
The SNS Project will provide tuition and fees for each participant. Computers (1-3) will be provided to each participating school. Schools will provide release time for participants to attend video-conferencing courses and to work on their computer based assignments.
