AIHEC Virtual Library

The AIHEC Virtual Library allows you to find resources that are by, for, and about indigenous peoples. You may search by location, subject or tribe. The AIHEC Virtual Library is a project between the American Indian Higher Education Consortium leadership, the 33 member tribal colleges, and the Alliance for Community Technology (ACT) and Internet Public Library (IPL) at the University Of Michigan School Of Information.

Once you enter the site:
1. Decide what area would be most likely to contain the information you are looking for. Click on the tab at the top - Location or Subject or Tribe.
2. Once you have entered the area you have chosen, you can narrow down what you are looking for by clicking on a topic.
3. You will see a listing of possible sites to visit along with brief descriptions of each site. Click on the site that has the information you are seeking.
