Service Learning Projects
Spring 2009—Six Traits of Writing takes on a new twist as we open the workshop up to Freshman English I and II, Basic English 083, Speech Communications and local area high schools as well as our Basic English II classes.
Basic English II students help prepare, create, serve, mentor and garner community support through donations by writing letters and visiting the public at large.
Providing food and support for OLC students, the 10th grade academy, Spearfish High School and all the major Pine Ridge Reservation High School participants, this truly is a service and community building project
