Christmas Food Safety

The Christmass holiday time is a time for enjoyment of family traditions. All cultures have food traditions during holiday seasons and day to day activities. One concern during holiday season is that we may forget to follow safe food handling methods because of normal holiday distractions.

OLC's Agriculture Extension Department has linked popular food safety websites to assist the community of the Pine Ridge Reservation in having a safe holiday season when it comes to food preperation and storage. Have a safe and happy holiday season.
