Dear Students,
Thank you for being a Brave Heart! Oglala Lakota College is committed to protecting future generations, Oyate, our language, culture, and especially our wisdom keepers – our elders. Oglala Lakota College will continue to operate, but will practice social distancing, and will limit activities that might put the students, staff, and community in harm's way.
With that in mind, I am writing to inform you that Oglala Lakota College plans to continue providing quality education through distance learning in the fall 2020 semester. The classes designed for 100% online will continue as they have in the past. The face to face courses will transition to ZOOM, or a combination of Zoom and/or OLC's learning management (LMS) system MOODLE.
Registration will continue online, and center directors and counselors will be available to assist you throughout the semester. All faculty have been in training this summer to improve your distance education experience.
Please check your OLC email regularly for important updates, timelines, or action items as we prepare for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters.
Sincerely,
Dawn Frank, Ph.D.
Vice President of Instruction
Oglala Lakota College
