  • Declared major on file with the Registrar's Office. Must be seeking a degree higher than that already obtained.  Only eligible course costs will be covered. Students who are found eligible and take any course(s) outside of the declared status sheet will not have those books, tuition, and fee costs covered, and the student will be considered self-pay on costs incurred for course(s) taken outside of the status sheet. Example:If an Associate's Degree has been earned, a student must be declared with Registrar's for a Bachelor's Degree, and only take courses associated with that declared major’s status sheet.

  • Students will demonstrate an increase in their pace of progression or completion rate at the end of each semester to maintain eligibility for the following semester.
  • Students who decrease in their pace of progression or academically withdraw after having their costs covered will be considered self-pay for the returning semester and may reapply for the scholarship after successfully passing a full semester.   (Being a self-pay student does not prevent students from enrolling or attending courses.)

Ineligible Students:

  • Students who are fully packaged or have their books, tuition, and fees covered by other funding sources such as Title IV or PELL, scholarships, grants, etc.
